Mary Norman, LMFT, NCC, RYT-200
FOUNDER, THERAPIST, YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Mary Norman is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Yoga instructor specializing in working with anxious high achievers and trauma survivors. She has over 8 years of experience helping clients on their path to healing. Mary supports individuals, groups, couples, and families through psychotherapy and somatic approaches. She has expertise in various forms of therapy and works collaboratively with her clients to decide the route(s) that fits them best. Some forms of therapy she offers are Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution Focused Therapy and trauma informed yoga. In her free time, Mary loves engaging in outdoor activities (scuba diving, swimming, hiking, etc.), experiencing live music, making art, and connecting to her inner SWEMO (IYKYK). On a personal note, Mary went into the field of counseling inspired to use her education and experience to assist clients that deal with the challenges of anxiety, having lived with her own difficulties as a high drive, perfectionist with a loud inner critic. In this, she connects naturally and deeply with folks that identify as anxious high achievers.
